Abstraction

Observing the world around us, in all its complexity and richness, and then imagining it from a radically different angle than the one we are used to, allows us to reveal a whole new reality, often unsuspected. This ability to transfigure what the eye immediately perceives opens infinite horizons for artistic expression. The goal is not simply to reproduce reality as it presents itself, but to interpret it, enrich it, and explore it through a creative lens that challenges conventions and visual expectations. Once this original vision is acquired, the artist can expand this perspective and transform it into abstract and fascinating works that invite reflection and contemplation.
In the field of photography, achieving this goal requires a meticulous and in-depth look at the elements that make up our environment: the shapes, lines, colors, light play, and textures that, at first glance, may seem trivial, but which, when observed through a different prism, reveal their true creative potential. Each detail then becomes a source of inspiration, each element a piece of the puzzle that, once assembled, creates a unique and unprecedented image.
Today, technological advances, particularly cutting-edge digital techniques, allow us to push the boundaries of this artistic exploration. Thanks to digital tools, it is now possible to merge different photographs, add digital drawings, and manipulate colors and shapes with unprecedented precision, offering nearly infinite possibilities. These technologies open up a new dimension to visual expression, allowing for the creation of works that, while rooted in reality, transcend its constraints to offer a freer, more poetic, and sometimes even surreal interpretation of the world around us. By combining the art of photography and digital drawing, the artist can build captivating and original visual universes, where each image tells a story and evokes an emotion.
